JOB SUMMARY:

Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems. Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Sheraton, including up-selling. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for contracting and closing group, local catering and social business and ensuring that business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for quality service delivery.

- Responsible for achieving group and catering revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity to maximize revenue.

- Implements the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

- Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., Sales Office, Area Sales, EST) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.

- Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

- Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

- Gains understanding of the hotel's primary target customer and service expectations; serve the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution both prior to, and during the program/event.

EDUCATION AND RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

- 4-year bachelor's degree or master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.

OR

- College diploma; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional.

- Good knowledge of Russian and English languages.
