1)Contact KPJV new starters on scheduled Tengiz mobilization date to confirm safe arrival and send ‘Safe Arrival’ email notification to employer.

2)Meet KPJV new starters and their Line Managers within established timeframe and provide introduction and overview of KPJV Employee Relations function.

3)Conduct in-person periodic assessments with KPJV personnel and respective Line Managers to answer queries, provide advice, and mitigate any concerns.

4)Conduct employee relations investigations as required.

5)Conduct policy compliance audits as required. May require business travel to JV partner and/or project offices.

6)May assist in the creation of, and provide training on, various employee relations topics.

7)Assist with the communication process with employees on KPJV HR policies and procedures.

8)Ensure all KPJV personnel receive and sign required policy information upon initial mobilization and within established timeframes thereafter.

9)Maintain secure electronic file(s), distribute copy(s) to the relevant stakeholders (i.e. employer) and archive as required.

10)Liaise with KPJV partners ensuring accurate and prompt communication on KPJV employee matters.


  • Higher education;

  • 5 years work experience;

1)Investigation experience.

2)Working knowledge of The Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3)Excellent customer service skills.

4)Excellent interpersonal skills.

5)Proven ability working in a collaborative environment with all levels of personnel.

6)High level of attention to detail.

7)Results focused; able to multi-task and able to complete tasks with strict deadlines.

8)Ability to multi-task.

9)Able to communicate professionally in a business environment (written and verbal) in Russian and English.

10)Sound analytical skills.

11)Strict adherence to confidentiality policies.

12)Sound interpersonal awareness; able to listen to people's problems and provide HR or general assistance.

13)Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel). 14)ability to travel to JV partner and/or project offices.
