Job Responsibilities:

• Development of plans and instructions on HSE, programs on briefings and training of workers to safe methods of works;
• Organizations of propaganda and training of workers to safety rules;
• Participation in development of the general instructions for all company’s sites, waking corrections and updates in the procedures considering changes in legislation;
• Observance of legislation, procedures, instructions, rules and HSE standards and sanitation on the production;
• Incident investigation review and preparation of corrective measures, development of risk assessments, updating and actualization of manuals, plans and procedures;
• Conducting of internal audits, promoting and increasing HSE motivation among all company employees;
• Ensuring compliance in the company standard ISO 14001;
• Collaboration with clients and governments regarding environmental affairs;
• Attending relevant meetings with clients;
• Monitoring close out of HSE related non conformities;
• To manage/update/develop manuals, procedures etc for the Management System in accordance with the applicable documentation requirements;
• To supervise external audits, carry out internal audits;
• Organizes the certification of production facilities for working conditions;
• Carries out work on certification and certification of workplaces and production equipment for compliance with safety and labor protection requirements together with other employees;
• Conducts introductory briefings on safety and labor protection with all newly hired, seconded, pupils and students who have come to the industrial training or practice;
• To initiate and coordinate actions resulting from audits;
• To record, analyses and distribute the imperfections that came to light and to make improvement proposals;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have more than 5 years’ experience in maintenance work in the Petroleum industry;
• Minimum 4 years in HSE position;
• Must be able to work with computers utilising Microsoft Windows and Office suite of packages;
• Must have a received formal training in HSE & Safety Management;
• Must be capable of supporting HSE audits, site, procedures and HSE Plan;
• Fluent English;
• Must know legislative and regulatory, regulatory and legal documents on the transport of dangerous goods;
