Position based in Tengiz, 28/28
Requirements:
• Higher (or postgraduate) education in the relevant specialty.
• More than 5 years experience by specialty in technical production. Preferable management and supervisory experience in one or more of the following: Personnel and Goods Transportation Operations, Maintenance of Vehicles/ Equipment, QA/QC and / or HSE.
• Proved track experience in Commercial and Business Development.
• Computer literate and competent in Excel, Word, Access
• Must possess excellent Russian, Kazakh, English speaking and communication skills.
• Proven experience in the management of large scale fleet management operations (500+) in remote regions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to implement continuous improvement programs which are measurable and provide both tangible and intangible benefits to the MVS.
• Ability to understand and be familiar with general transportation workflow processes, procedures and systems.
Responsibilities:
• Report and record all MVC accidents, near misses, injuries, provide feedback to management regarding hazards in the workplace and any other health, safety and security issues which may have impact
• Vigorously participate in planned active monitoring, unplanned reactive monitoring and promote a safe working environment
• Provide leadership and drive change in Motor Vehicle Safety initiatives and implement systems and programs such as: Defensive Driving and the use of Driving Monitor
• Perform safety audits, driver evaluation, vehicle inspections and driver training
• Develop and implement training programs that will positively impact MVS metrics
• Periodically review and monitor vehicle and plant fleets and make recommendations with regard to the most suitable and appropriate vehicles for future inclusion in the fleets
• Investigate incidents and complaints in a timely manner; report on findings and to make recommendations as to the prevention of reoccurrence.
• Summarize all weekly and monthly reports for management as required
• Be able to identify and interpret events within reports and VDO data.
• Report any findings of suspect non-conformance data to the clients end user in order to avoid incorrect actions against a vehicle driver or operator
